Full powers chili

Ingredients
3 (29 oz) cans diced tomatoes 1 (29 oz) can tomato sauce 1 (29 oz) can red kidney beans 1 (29 oz) can pinto beans 6 cans tomato paste 3 Tbsp diced garlic (buy pre-chopped) 2 lbs bacon (with fat) 4 lbs ground beef (80/20, not lean) 4 lbs sweet Italian sausage 5–7 jalapeño peppers, chopped 5 yellow or Spanish onions, chopped 3 red bell peppers, chopped 1 stick butter 6 Tbsp chili powder 2 Tbsp cayenne pepper 6 tsp cumin 8 Tbsp hot sauce 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp crushed red pepper 2 Tbsp salt 1 bottle Outta Park Hot BBQ Sauce (to taste) 1 bottle Outta Park Sweet BBQ Sauce (to taste)
Instructions
Prep the meat: Cook bacon in a large pot until crisp. Remove, crumble, and set aside. Leave the rendered fat in the pot. Brown ground beef and sausage in the bacon fat. Drain excess grease if desired. Build the base: Add butter, garlic, onions, jalapeños, and bell peppers. Cook until softened and fragrant. Tomato & bean load: Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, kidney beans, and pinto beans. Spice it up: Add chili powder, cayenne, cumin, crushed red pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Stir well. Flavor bomb: Mix in hot sauce and both BBQ sauces (start light, add more to taste). Simmer: Return bacon to the pot. Reduce heat to low and let simmer uncovered 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally. Taste & adjust: Balance with more hot sauce or sweet BBQ depending on preference.
Serving Ideas
Serve with shredded cheddar, sour cream, and chopped scallions. Cornbread or tortilla chips on the side. Cold beer highly recommended 🍺.
